You need a car if you want to leave the hotel, if you need to to to a drugstore, have an ice-cream, etc. It's not easy to come into the gated community because the security guards for the gated community want to know the number of your Brazilian "social security ", etc. The hotel needs to find a better system for its guests. Food is available, basically 24/7 but if you plan to stay longer, you will get bored with the menu

Very good location. Beach is very close, only 5 minutes walking. Large rooms. Very good breakfast, a lot of different options. Clean room, cleaning service every day. Every day fresh towels. Available beach towels. Hotel is close to airport in between the city center of Salvador and Praia do Forte.

Very well managed hotel, with great and friendly staff and very good food. The location is perfect if you like beaches with no crowds and don't want to face a long drive from the airport.

Location is good for couples,family,solo travellers. Will need to know how to ride else will need an uber all the time to visit the nearest mall or shopping area, restraunt.
